I think if I was fixing this I would have melted some soft plastic and had a form that had a tin foils sheet on the inside and out and just poured that break full. Maybe try bondo on the foam?
I'd have melted stainless wire into the good plastic, then filled the hole with plastic. I don't like fiberglass and resin on plastic. SS sheet metal patch would work fine also. |
