Will never go back to PT. On straight 1/2 mile riws maybe not as much. But we have terraced fields of grass going everywhich way the pt took exactly twice as long to cut as SP, just from constantly turning etc. PT suck in pivot tracks tire falls in and cant get it back out wants to slide around the track.
Seeing what's in front of you is so much nicer. Like running a dozer vs 3pt blade. Not constantly cranked around looking back etc. Once you get older not looking back is nicer.

If doing lots of small odd shaped fields, no brainer SP.
