I get custom guys in and they chop/haul/pack about 10 acres per hour and when I worked there invoice back to pounds of dry matter I came up with .84 cents per pound of dry matter…..yes, less than a penny a pound, I’m about triple that on cut/rake/bale/gather/wrap and I still haul them all winter.
