What's the biggest corn head you can put on an L or M vs a 95/9600? Grain tank capacity? Engine hp? As I recall they are just different machines.

Factory is 8 row, I've seen the N series 12 row adapted to an L before. 24 foot grain header is factory. Like all combines the sieves are the limiting factor, along with the elevators following.

The L3 Hydro was 160 HP. We've managed 250 bushel on it with some wet grain before, it depends on how it fills as the grain tank auger floats on the pile as it fills.

"Just different machines"? What is your point here? Your trying to compare John Deere's biggest again Gleaner's smallest, from a decade after Gleaner stopped making them. Are you saying Deere made one design and just put different engines in them?

M-F-K had closed concaves, L had open.

K-F-M-L, from left to right got longer and wider, all were smaller in physical size than the Deere's, but not by a terrible lot.

The L-M-F-K were made at the same time, the K was dropped halfways through as it was tiny.

The L-M-F were made from 1972 to 1988*, with the L2 coming out in 1977* and the L3 in 1983*, the same with the M2, M3, F2, F3, etc.

There was an MH and MH2 as well, hillside models.

Again what is your point here?
