Roth or traditional IRA? Roth, you can pull it all out tax free.
Do you have other children? What is your estate plan? Will stocks be used for inheritance to non-farm heirs?
Ground close to home is always nicer, even if you travel well, but maybe wait and buy a piece of dirt that is better and easier to farm even if its further away. Unless this one goes particularly cheap.
