| It’s circle yes. But the data centers are being used. They take a long time to write off I think.
Here’s what it’s actually like tho.
Say you had a John Deere tractor. And you didn’t need a new one. But then John Deere came out with one that although more expensive, it’s twice as fuel efficient and has more horse power. And then the next year, they came out with a new tractor that has more horse power and is more fuel efficient.
And then John Deere figures up how much money you’re going to make off the tractor and they only charge you enough so that it still makes sense for you to buy the new tractor because of all the savings. Plus you’re prbly going to expand another 1000 acres soon so why not.
That’s my real take away from Jensen haung at the moment. Well two things. He does good employee compensation thru profit sharing. And he delivers a better product year after year after year. He makes it feasible for them to continue to buy out the total production available.
Computers do a lot of things. Everything is computer. And everything’s going on blockchain and there’s going to be cameras everywhere and biometric data and scanners and super computers (prbly with lasers) orbiting earth. And it’s all running or going to run on data centers. These big companies keep buying them, their profits keep going up, not as much as nvidia mind you, and they LITERALLY ARENT HIRING PEOPLE ANYMORE.
Since chat gpt was released new job openings has basically flatlined.
The use cases are real. It’s not freaking “pets.com”. They are taking sand melting it down, then engraving circuits on it at an atomic level which then can solve any PhD level grad exam.
Thats the difference. Pets.com vs making sand “think”
And hell let’s say it’s not thinking. Let’s say it’s just remembering and pattern recognition. It’s making SAND REMEMBER THINGS SO PROFITS GO UP WITH LESS LABOR INPUTs
I CANT THINK OF ANYTHING MORE BULLISH. GOOD LORD
