| I know a guy working for a major tech company and he was talking about how their new performance reviews were going to be done by ai. He said him and his colleagues were joking about feeding the ai information in their isolated system to make the ai think they’re a better employee. Like try to trick it. They were just joking around.
But I explained that, unless you’re writing the code, the ai is already influencing YOU and not the other way around. Any form of new internet media is driven by some algorithm and that’s basically a rudimentary ai. From social media posts that make you angry or advertisements that make you want to buy something. All the data is being collated and used to monetize you personally for an extra dollar.
The ai is already here. It’s generating massive revenue and it’s really only beginning.
I’ve been reading about “Aladdin”. Blackrocks super ai that has been controlling markets for awhile now.
If they are finally allowing us plebs to buy subscriptions to it, that means they have far more advanced models that they are already using. | |
