1983 had several days like that in beans….limit up, limit down and end the day limit up. Then again in 1988 but nothing like 1983.
"You haven't been around long" then quotes market movement from 42 years ago. I doubt many have been around that long! Btw, I can't find when up and down limit was touched with one day in soybeans during 1983.
