No, we're just smart enough to figure out that not all fuel can be supplied by ethanol. But when it's cheaper at any level.............why not support it??
My son works in the Bakken oilfield. I've got nothing against domestically produced oil either. But let them compete against each other to keep prices down for everyone. Especially when you need at least the 10% level of ethanol to keep the cities skies from turning brown.
I support ethanol in that I do provide Milo to their plants on occasion. And for years I was forced to buy the 10% stuff as no one local would provide an alternative. As far as ethanol keeping the city skies clean, that’s a cnn talking point. Go fire up a 1970’s semi vs. one built 30 years later and you’ll have your answer to that. |
