Yes and yes.
They will ship box beef in, mix it with domestic beef or prosses it into something so they can label it "product of the USA", and it will be perfectly legal. All this proposal does is "allow" any processed to put a country of origin label on a package of meat. JBS can do that today if they wanted to, but since they are the ones importing beef they don't want to. You are being deceived. |
