Really? What exactly has been done to unwind consolidation in the packing industry? There have been attempts to start some small regional packing plants, but nothing has been done to reduce the 80 to 85 percent of the market the big four control.
That is a big problem in other industries also, eggs, poultry, chicken and healthcare amongst others. Corporate greed. The consumers and producers get the short end of the stick.
Why is importing beef such a big deal?
