After earning three degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), she worked at Texas Instruments, IBM, and Freescale Semiconductor in engineering and management positions.[2][4][5] She is known for her work developing silicon-on-insulator semiconductor manufacturing technologies[6] and more efficient semiconductor chips[7] during her time as vice president of IBM's Semiconductor Research and Development Center.[8] Su is also a member of The Business Council.[9]
