I grow 4 acres of pumpkins on a rye cover crop. This year we only had 3/4" of rain in August. Everything was small. I would like to try irrigating them next year. I have a small lake for water and have used drip tape on other crops. How would I go about running the drip tape next to the plants thru the mat of rye ?
