What time of year do you plan to do that nitrogen application? What are typical temperatures around then? I have seen university data about good humid acid products showing like for like yields in a “farmer standard # of N” vs 20% reduction of N# . I don’t know that I would do it in the heat of summer as a stabilizer, but in the spring time where temps aren’t as bad I think a good humic can do enough with nutrient efficiencies to be a better spend vs a stabilizer. That said, there are tons of choices for humics out there and some are not so great.
