Brazil port beans are more expensive than US NOLA beans. Freight to the ports will always be a wild card but right now all metrics say Brazil is getting more for their beans. Brazil doesn’t need them to buy anymore because they are practically out. Brazil bean prices are also high enough to encourage more acreage.
