nc ks | I thought todd mary was our resident designated boomer.?
Wish I had NW iowa weather and soil, but i don't know if I could operate in those financial conditions. 5 times the price for a little more than twice the aph. I suppose though over time the extra yield will pay for that. A fair amount of our soybeans are doing twice normal yields this year and so basically $19 soybeans are going to help heal several years of not much i hope. We usually maybe have 5 bushels over basic cost of production. If you are in an area that you can have 15 to 20 bushels over consistently, it could add up to enough to buy land that puts you back at break even?
