NW TX Panhandle | Oh ok. Usually it will go out shortly after wheat emergence. That is mostly due to wanting to get all the wheat in asap. Then once that's done, come back & stream on the fertilizer. We're irrigated here, so the fertilizer gets watered in after applying. Will do this for the winter wheat, in the spring for sorghum & corn as well. Have never not had a good response doing it this way. Put out a lot is check strips for early comparisons. | |
