SW WI | I sold some Nov 26 beans, cash $10.30 Oct delivery, yesterday.
Reasons are: This works for me if ave weather and ave yields happen. An adequate profit per acre. No, nothing is certain with weather.
I feel the trade deal is getting overhyped. What leverage do we have now, over China to force them to buy beans, that we didn’t have, the last few months?
Also, if an agreement is made, how certain can you be China lives up to it? Their track record indicates, otherwise.
Time will tell. If it’s a big move upward from here…..it won’t be the first time I’ve left money on the table.
Won’t be the last time, either.
