Top middle of MO. land of green hills and grass | I’ve actually been contemplating that in the spring. Make an early pass pre plant with valor/24d or dicamba/mtz and spray whole field over top of waterways and cover crop.
Plant beans and wait 10-14 days to come back with rup to kill the rye.
Figure the first pass is likely to set the rye back some but not kill it. Will also help keep the weeds down in the field borders and waterways. But have been hesitant…not wanting to kill the waterways. Seems like I remember years ago something like Axiom getting pretty hard on them. |
