Subject: Southern Corn Rust, yield response for fungicide?

South Central Illinois

So,
What is the final verdict for corn fungicide applied after the SCR became obvious?
Once the SCR became obvious, after 3 weeks of rain, and the fungicide application was ordered.
It was actually several days later that the fungicide was actually applied.
By the time the fungicide was actually in place, the Sun came out a few days later and dried up all of the water.
No rain for 3 months following the fungicide application.
Did the fungicide provide any benefit or protection from the SCR becoming worse?
