I only have a jd 4230 and a 5020 of that vintage. I harp on my employees even if they try start it with the key by reaching up through the door. At least have one foot in the cab and one on the step for safety sake. You just never know. Shifters and switches on all that stuff is 40-60 years old and worn.
Yea I’m under the impression that your taking your life for granted starting anything when not sitting in the seat.
