Broke the rear axle in a new Massey combine back in the late ‘70s the first year I owned it.
I guess I was meaning the newer axial ones, I stand corrected, I’m sure some rotary Massey combines have broke rear axels, just seems like a surprisingly often occurrence on the older CaseIH combines. The one on my Challenger 670/9790 looks really heavy built.
