Subject: 2366 in tough laid over beans?

tennessee
Got some pretty rank beans that still have some green stalks and some leaves still on. Im having a hard time getting any speed going through these...like 1.5 to 2 mph. Which way do you cut laid over beans? Not completely on the ground but close. I've been going at a 90 degree angle to the way they're laying. Bout 65 to 70 bu beans..rotor @700 concave @2.5 with afx rotor and Gordon bars 25 ft 1020. Plugged feeder once and dont wanna do that again! Reverser wouldn't back it out...had to cut with sawzall. Anything I can do yo gain a little speed?
