EC IA | It has somewhere around 20k acres on it, almost all no till in hilly terrain. Lift wheel pivot joints are sloppy, as well as frame fold points. The slop has also caused some frame cracking - we weld it multiple places every year. Row units have also started cracking at the seed tube guard roll pin holes. Draft tubes have cracked through a couple times.
Changing out the nitrogen applicator bar for one we can sidedress with is another good point - we could continue preplant application with it on the hills and try sidedressing some of the flatter ground. | |
