I'm with the other posters, I think you have another problem. Possibly a plugged radiator on either the coolant side or the air side, coolant passages plugged up in the engine, water pump impeller rotted off, etc. To answer your question, a radiator with better cooling capacity is never bad. The thermostat will control how much cooled coolant is needed
