Another tractor is transitioning onto the need side of the list vs. the want. I would be looking for a 275 or more, its main job would be to pull a 12 row planter (over kill I know) and a 25ft turbo till in the fall. However we have a 1000 bushel grain cart so whatever tractor I get I want it to be a sufficient option incase my current 315 goes down during harvest.

I currently have a 315 and have been happy with it in the 4 years that I've owned it. The Deere dealer has been showing his face more lately and has a 2013 8310R IVT with 4500 hours for 170k. I can by a 315 with same hours for allot less, and even less hours for less money.

My question is is Deere worth the money? I do like the integration of their tech and I believe Deere guidance is probably the best out there but at what cost does it make sense?
