Subject: RE: Treatment on leather boots?

Sw mn
I used to go through leather boots about every 4-5 months. Seams blowing out or leather cracking.

Still wearing the same redwing boot but I talked to a small mom and pop boot store. Now I put my boots on a boot dryer every night and the dryer is on a timer that runs for 4 hours. Then every Sunday I use a foam brush and brush on neats foot oil. Now my boots are cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. My boots now last 3 years with the same pair worn every day. I can usually resolve the boots twice before the leather is worn out.
