Scranton
Our state highways are only basically mowed the 10 feet along the highway. I know this because we annually mow and bale 20-30 miles of state road ditches annually. Everywhere else trees are becoming a big problem. I asked the local shop about them and he said they don't even have a skidloader with attachment to pull them.

They did try to spot mow some near here, but missed half the trees. They did, however, hit a huge rock with the mower (more than 12 " diameter round ish) and left it lay where they can hit it again next time.

No animals other than deer are picked up or moved. Deer are drug to edge of the grass, mostly by staties or deputies.
