A neighbor wanted me to help him frame a pole barn, Setting the trusses and putting on purlins top , middle, & bottom, just enough to hold it
When attaching purlins, he wanted to ad did use construction screws, I advised him not to. 
About a week later after some moderate winds, I came back to help with the tin, well over 50% of the screws were sheared off, the ones I had nailed on were the only thing that kept it from collapsing.
