Your county must be totally different than here. The state hwy's here are mostly all mowed. Some places they can't go. They don't mow the whole thing till late summer/fall. Dead critters moved off the roadway, but just drug to the bottom of the ditch. Except on weekends. Wouldn't expect them to throw them in the back of their pickup. County dept doesn't have the money, time or man power. They do mow one pass a couple times a year. They even do that on the gravel roads. Up until maybe 10 years ago all the county had was a cabless tractor. I would for sure want a cab. The dust, dirt, noise, weather and a lot safer.
