S.C. Wisconsin | One thing that is not realized is those people who pick the produce are not unskilled labor. I watched them immigrants work and they are very skilled at harvesting produce. there is no way most people could keep up to their skills. It's eye opening to watch them harvesting produce as they are very skilled on how efficient and fast they can harvest produce. Very few Americans have that skill. But on the other hand I didn't tell my kids to not get an education as you can make good money picking produce as they got educated and now have better jobs than harvesting produce. Then we have the factor of our low birth rate now and these people have better options. | |
