Local School just purchased new Suburban / Minivan -
Because they said exiting ones were 'old' -- only issue was a window that was held up by duct tape - 120K on each - but they wanted 'new'.
No issues regarding safety -- IE Tires/Mechanical issues etc.
Waste of $$
PS - our property tax bill will be up 11.7% for the next 5 years to pay for these + Taj Mahal Bathroom remodels (coudn't get teachers to apply) Sidewalks that were heaving. and Central HVAC where window units have worked before.
79 total kids K-12 -- some lower grades combined -- and only 40 from local school district
