If you were nailing off the sheathing on a Mcmansion, you'd learn how to use a nailgun, or you would still be there, as Larry Haughn would say. Nails are perfectly adequate for any construction code for most framing, and so much faster than screws when you're doing a lot. There are ringshank gun nails, but they're rarely needed.
