I just very rairly use nails anymore for my repair and small projects. Was sistering a support joist on a old car shed this afternoon and got to wondering about the strength of a # 10 deck screw compared to a 16 nail. I know the screws are a hard material and will break where a nail will bend. The screws were sure easier for me hanging this board.
