Embarrass WI | I have no way of knowing how private insurance negotiates, but my Medicare reports show that the doctor bills about 5x what Medicare pays.
Before I was on socialized medicine, I was self-pay with Christian Healthcare Ministries for backup for major bills. I wish I could have seen Medicare pricing at that time.
If the doctors don't want to work for what Medicare pays, they have the option of not taking Medicare patients. | |
