SW OH
The company I work for uses a lot of cement in both concrete (almost all purchased as ready mix) and soil stabilization. Back around 2020 we were being severely rationed by our suppliers. We had a bridge deck ready for something like 2,500 yards only to be told we might be able to bring you 20. Another job with a lot of stabilization had to be re written without it at a much higher cost to the city paying for it.

It got so bad the company invested several million building a set up to off load and store cement from river barges. They have been buying cement from Thailand. So did the shortage of cement play a big part in your construction? I would think this shortage came about the same time you were in the final planning stages. I wonder if any of your cement came through our facility. We are supplying other concrete companies.
