| OK, it's been a few days, i can't believe Ace's passing hasn't fetched a post on here. His death, prompted by a bad fall has affected me much more than say Ozzy Osborne's passing.
If you were a male like me growing up in the 70s. KISS was a big deal. While Ace wasn't a good singer, man he could play guitar. I am not saying his solo on "shock me" was the best ever, but it was very good. I admire how well he accepted adversity in his life (getting kicked out of the band), while not allowing it to influence his words/thoughts about others (I am sure there are quotes from Ace out there dissing gene/paul ;however, at the end of his life he displayed an admirable level of forgiveness towards his former band mates).
Rock contemporaries all brag on Ace. He was the man....with the funniest laugh ever imo. | |
