Who has cranks on their traps and tarps.......push button all the way.  To each their own but when I'm the only truck driver and dumping a truck 20-25 times/day the cranks get/got old real fast.....and my shoulders took a beating.



I'm happy when I use the rollover tarp and crank traps because that means I'm not ratcheting down the tarp and running the slide hammer on the older trailer.

It's all about perspective...

Me personally I'd rather make positive diet and exercise changes than to bring an auto shift into the fleet. Poor health and auto shifts both cost more in the long run.
