Who has cranks on their traps and tarps.......push button all the way.  To each their own but when I'm the only truck driver and dumping a truck 20-25 times/day the cranks get/got old real fast.....and my shoulders took a beating.

Good Golly . . . . you made the transition to save your shoulders but won't trade trucks to save your arm/wrists and such ? ? ? There are plenty of very good, good value, dependable auto shift or full auto tranny trucks you could trade or buy into, just as solid as your current one. It's your body - but hard to have empathy if you don't consider your options to not have pain.

My semi with the auto is waiting on a compressor so running the one with the standard transmission.  After a bunch of intersections where I had to start and stop Friday. I was really questioning why shifting is tied to a person’s man card.  Pushing on two pedals is so much better. When my truck with the Allison dies I’ll get another with Allison or automated transmission.   Hopefully that’s several years away.
