I remember well the Belgians my grand-dad had when I was a kid........I'm a little bit younger than you.  His last pair were shown at the big horse show in Waverly Iowa in 1967 and he won his division. Grandpa was good friends with Dick Sparrow who put together the famous 40-horse hitch in the early 1970s.  Another 50+% of harness and lines is pretty amazing.
