Ottawa,ON Canada | Seems like a waste of hardware. It’s worth $250 on trade apparently. An extended monitor is $2200, CAD. 1 year advanced licence for it is $5800. I bought the kit for the dome and the JD link. I figured the display would be useless after year, maybe activate auto trac only for a tillage tractor would be the only thing it’s good for now. These yearly licenses are out of hand. Then there’s the $5000 Ethernet switch required to run a new planter, and the $700 updated antenna to make machine sync work better. I guess that’s what it costs to play the game these days :(. If this was a video game console, someone would have hacked in and unlocked all these activations already, and built these $5000 Ethernet switches for $50 worth of parts of amazon. | |
