Within about 2 years (the hog cycle is ~ 4 years) the hog market will be back to losing money* with no one looking to add more barns.
* Losing money could be as soon as next fall. Several sow units are currently coming back on line after PRRS clean up, which is part of the reason everyone is suddenly looking for barns again.
