The government is not going to stop using your tax dollars for the subsidization of crop insurance premiums for individuals who choose to farm pasture and hay ground. Therefore the herd probably won’t increase much. As long as cattle are high, and the consumer is willing to pay the current price of beef, then why does it need to change??
