| Have an opportunity to rent(potentially buy) house and cattle feeding yard. Both are in average to slightly above average shape. Good working facilities, tougher feed bunks, nice bunker, nice hay and equipment storage, a boatload of concrete(whole place is basically concrete).Has been mostly empty for the good part of 20 years. If a guy were to start feeding cattle what’s the better route, custom feed or source our own and feed out? About 400 head capacity. Is either way feasible/worth it. We are young, love cattle and crops, we currently have some crops and cows and fatten out our own calves at another farm 15 miles away with not much facility.
