Dodge, NE | in my opinion no you do not have enough room for a double alley to be worth it. i would just go single that short of a double alley wont do you any good and actually might make it worse because the 2-1 or the combiner is what we call it will be visible to cattle that start down the alley this will look like a dead end and you will struggle to get them to commit down the alley. for a double alley to be effective it has to be a curved alley that is more than 2 visible head lengths long (usually 20-25ft ) bare minimum and going around a curve this is to keep cattle curious and moving with intent before they encounter the 2-1 | |
