Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | A complete working Insight system COULD work very well. Yours obviously does not which can be due to several reasons. I used one for several years with a Deere combine with good success.
With that being said, the Insight is an old system by electronic standards and has been replaced by several newer models. They are known to have screen issues with age although a screen replacement is possible. I would suspect that your salesman dealer wasn't very familiar with all that could be involved and was most interested in telling your whatever was needed to make the sale.
I suspect that your problem might be quite simple but there are many possibilities. The newer Ag Leader displays will in general work with your combine moisture and yield sensor modules so that is a possibility.
I have no knowledge of the FarmTRX systems that you refer to.
