Northern IN | I had a Mini GAC plus for several years that was good until it wasn’t. It started giving inconsistent readings on both moisture and test weight. I sent it to Ag Express to get it fixed. When I got it back it worked for 2 or 3 days before acting up the way it was before. I gave up on it and bought a Shore 930. It can run on batteries and came with a carrying case but I can’t take it into a bin like I could with the Mini GAC and it’s not as handy to carry in the combine. Not long after buying the 930 I found a Deere branded Agratronix tester my dad bought over 20 years ago and it still works so I carry that in the combine now and use the 930 at the bin site or on the tailgate of my truck if I want to check test weight. | |
