Chebanse, IL..... | Sloughclub often posts his drone work here. He sets his pattern via experiences with desiccation products in rice, I believe. His point is valid....if there's improper coverage it WILL show up with desiccation. More so than fungicides, obviously.
I'm hoping he'll reply somewhere in this thread.
By the way, the OP's photo looks like pattern tile to me. I'm surprised OP didn't investigate further and comment. Agronomy Strong....any further clarifications? I don't think he stated the source of the aerial photo. Was the field pattern tiled recently? Was it sprayed with a drone, or how? With what product at what swath etc. It's kind of a "make a guess" photo. It appears the photo was cropped. Is there more?
I think it would be prudent for ag drone applicators to follow up at this time of year on some of their work. It's a new industry and maybe they have some learning, or at least verification to do before next season. If they did a good job, they could use photos for next year's sales proof. Most of us farmers go through this all the time. You start out with something new and having no experience, you use settings given by mfg or anyone with previous experience. Then at the end of the year, you vow to readjust based on results. Nothing new. |
