Plant leaf hopper resistant varieties. I do, this year 3rd cutting side by side fields cut same day for 2nd and 3rd cutting, 10+ ss bale advantage with LH resistant alfalfa.
Now if I could just find a variety that the ditch rats didn't like.............................. The last two fields of 4th cutting I cut was missing most of the blossoms thanks to the deer herd I'm feeding.
