I wonder what the liability concerns, costs, would be to seriously farm among solar panels?

Not a lot of room to maneuver, damage a tracking panel and you have some serious expenses. Livestock like to rub and chew it’s amazing how one oddball can climb on something you couldn’t imagine they could reach, damages to the structure, who pays that? Liability?

I would think the panels need inspection, cleaning, repair from time to time. How is that handled? How is access gained? How is crop damage handled?

Even the beans get close to 4 foot high on a good year. How is the shade on the panels handled, accepted? If the panels need to be minimum of 5 or 6 feet high at the low side, how much extra does the support structure cost, how many more materials does it take? How much more does it cost to wash, check, repair a taller panel? When the panels are taller, the shade actually will now fall on the next open space, messing up the sun shine actually hitting the open alleys - now what? Works for grazing, but not crops that need to be in the open areas.

This all sounds good and easy on paper, but the reality in the real world…..
